MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. (Präsident: Shuhei Togo) gab bekannt, dass ihr regionaler Hauptsitz in Europa, die MOL Logistics Holding (Europe) B.V., eine Repräsentanz in Dubai, Vereinigte Arabische Emirate (V.A.E.), eröffnet hat.

MOL Logistics baut sein Geschäft in aufstrebenden Regionen im Einklang mit seinem mittelfristigen Geschäftsplan proaktiv aus. Das Unternehmen eröffnete im Mai 2017 seine Niederlassung in Nairobi und im April 2018 eine Tochtergesellschaft in Sri Lanka und unterzeichnete im Mai desselben Jahres einen neuen Agenturvertrag im Oman. Es konzentriert sich nun auf sein Geschäft in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, die als Logistikdrehscheibe einen Wettbewerbsvorteil und starke Verbindungen zu den Märkten in Afrika haben.

Dubai ist nach Abu Dhabi die zweitgrößte Wirtschaftsmacht der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate und verfügt über den größten von Menschenhand geschaffenen Hafen der Welt sowie den Dubai International Airport, der als internationales Drehkreuz fungiert und als Handels- und Logistikzentrum für die Länder des Nahen Ostens und Afrikas dient.

Zu den Aufgaben der Repräsentanz in der Freihandelszone von Jebel Ali gehören das Sammeln von Informationen über das Geschäft im Nahen Osten, die Ausweitung der Frachtsammlung in/aus und über die Golfstaaten sowie die weitere Verbesserung der Dienstleistungen für die ostafrikanischen Märkte in Zusammenarbeit mit der Niederlassung in Nairobi.

MOL Logistics entwickelt und erweitert kontinuierlich sein weltweites Logistiknetz und erfüllt in enger Zusammenarbeit mit seinen Kunden die unterschiedlichsten Logistikanforderungen.
