Dubaj jest drugą co do wielkości gospodarką w Zjednoczonych Emiratach Arabskich po Abu Zabi i posiada największy na świecie sztuczny port oraz międzynarodowe lotnisko w Dubaju, które służy jako międzynarodowy węzeł komunikacyjny, funkcjonujący jako miasto handlowe i logistyczne dla krajów Bliskiego Wschodu i Afryki.

Zadania biura przedstawicielskiego, zlokalizowanego w strefie wolnocłowej Jebel Ali, obejmują zbieranie informacji na temat działalności na Bliskim Wschodzie, rozszerzanie odbioru ładunków w kierunku do/z krajów Zatoki Perskiej oraz dalsze ulepszanie usług dla rynków Afryki Wschodniej we współpracy z oddziałem w Nairobi.
