Early December 2018, MOL Logistics Holding (Europe) B.V. organized the Budget Meeting for all EMEA members. Each year, two Budget Meetings are being held in order to monitor our overall progress, inspire each other and discuss future plans. During this meeting, the budgets for 2019 were discussed.
Our MOL Logistics branch in Tilburg (The Netherlands) received the Managing Directors and Sales representatives of our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) branches. Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Kenya, Middle East and Japan were represented. For the first time our Senior Managing Director Mr. Konishi was present. Together with Regional Director Mr. Yui, they opened the meeting.

Time to discuss budgets
This time, the meeting was split up in two parts: a budget part and a cooperation part.
All participants had to explain the background of their budget: where lay our challenges, how do we expect to do business. We also talked with participants if their budget is in line with our Business Plan 2018-2023.
Teamwork challenge
In the afternoon, time was reserved for a teamwork challenge. The theme was ‘How can we work more together’ and it included describing your ‘WOW factor of MLG’. In several teams, the attendants made short presentations about their vision and future improvements. This resulted in the goal for 2019: The Best of the two Worlds – European expertise combined with Japanese customer dedication.
We are looking forward to meeting our goals in 2019!
