From warehouse to sales: how Jefte grew within MOL Logistics Netherlands!

Sometimes development simply starts by doing. For Jefte, it all started in the MOL Logistics warehouse, where he became a permanent employee in 2012.

As an all round warehouse worker, he did a bit of everything. For seven years, he built up his experience. After a few years in the warehouse, he started looking for a new challenge. He noticed he was reaching his ceiling and thought: “there is more to achieve

Instead of waiting around, he took the initiative himself. He initiated a conversation and was given the opportunity to shadow various departments. That search eventually led him to the Road department, where everything fell into place: “I had an immediate connection there.”

He started his training as a freight forwarder and was simultaneously involved in the actual work. Step by step, he grew into the new role.

When I finished my training, I thought: 'This is really heading in the right direction!

What followed was over seven years as a freight forwarder, during which he continued to develop himself, but even then he kept looking ahead. His interests continued to broaden, and once again he was given the option to take a next step.

Today, he works as an Inside Sales Specialist. A role in which he deals with a variety of projects and collaborates closely with other colleagues and departments.
