Erkan de Morée new Managing Director
Current COO Erkan de Morée has been appointed Managing Director of MOL Logistics (Netherlands) B.V. with effect from 1 April 2023. In this position, he succeeds his Japanese colleague Kazunobu Sasano, who will take up an umbrella position across the EMEA region after five successful years leading the Netherlands organisation. Erkan De Morée joined MOL Logistics in 2008. He gained his years of logistics, forwarding and supply chain experience in various industries, including healthcare, technology, automotive and consumer goods.
Vision for the future of MOL Logistics in the Netherlands
Within the global MOL Logistics organisation, the Netherlands has always played a progressive role. “We like to lead the way with technical and practical innovations in sustainability and tailor-made solutions. The current Netherlands organisation stems from the family business Wassing, which was founded in 1919 as a “Port and transport company”. Over the years, Wassing has shown to be an innovative company with various forwarding solutions such as road transport, air freight, sea freight and rail transport. In 1990, the name Wassing was exchanged for MOL Logistics (Netherlands) B.V., which continued this innovative trend.
