Join us reducing CO² emission
Sustainable Aviation Fuel program
MOL Logistics (Netherlands) has joined the sustainable aviation fuel programme with Air France KLM Martinair Cargo. We offer our customers the opportunity to participate and make efforts to reduce CO² emissions.
Fuel from renewable resources
MOL Logistics (Netherlands) has signed an agreement to use sustainable aviation fuel during cargo flights. The use of this fuel, made from renewable resources, is proven safe and provides substantial CO² reduction.
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is made from more sustainable resources. Like waste oils of organic origins (such as used cooking oil). This means the Sustainable Aviation Fuel:
- Is a renewable feedstock
- Emits at least 75% less CO₂ than fossil jet fuel throughout its lifecycle, from production to combustion
- Reduces other harmful emissions like particulates and sulphur
Partnership KLM Cargo for 100 years
MOL Logistics (Netherlands) has been a partner of KLM Cargo in the Netherlands for almost 100 years. MOL Logistics evolved from Wassing BV in Tilburg, which, like KLM, was founded in 1919.
MOL Group Sustainability agenda
The cooperation of MOL logistics (Netherlands) with KLM is in line with extensive policy on sustainability, safety and social responsibilities by MOL worldwide. With a fleet of more than 700 ships, this has a substantial impact. At MOL Logistics’ home base in the Netherlands, in Tilburg, the company is currently working hard on making the warehouses completely carbon neutral.
