Your role as Branch Manager NCE
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the NCE Ridderkerk branch, where you will lead a team of 12 freight forwarders and administrative/financial staff. You are the connecting link that ensures effective cooperation, a pleasant working atmosphere and the achievement of common goals.
No two days are the same: you supervise the day-to-day operational activities, make adjustments where necessary and focus on improvements. With your knowledge of ISO tank containers and experience in sea freight (import & export), you will ensure efficient tank management, maintenance planning and incident management. You stimulate the growth of your team by guiding them, giving them feedback and supporting their development. At the same time, you monitor planning, meet deadlines and maintain contact with customers, international partners and suppliers. With your focus on innovation, you make logistics processes smarter and more efficient. You are responsible for the budget and develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of the branch.
With your leadership and strategic vision, you know how to motivate the team and achieve success together, not only optimizing operational processes, but also making a lasting impact on the branch and its customers.
Requirements
- Managerial experience in a similar position where your commercial insight and operational background come to the fore;
- Specific ISO tank container knowledge and experience to complement your experience in Sea Freight (import & export);
- Experience in incident management and tank management, including maintenance planning and efficient operation;
- Knowledge of portbase & softpack;
- Financial knowledge (in connection with managing the local accounting team) is an advantage;
- HBO working and thinking level;
- Knowledge of international regulations and certifications (such as IMDG, ADR, ISO 9001);
- You radiate energy, ambition and drive.

The introductory interview normally takes place with the direct supervisor and an HR Specialist.
